Our take on the Wastelands
The Wasteland is a theme we have wanted to explore for some time now, so when we decided to tackle it, we really went all in: Skin Effects (geoshells), Wasteland outfit with additional texture and top options and additional Post-apocalyptic inspired textures for existing clothing sets.
We let ourselves explore far and wide to create a mini-world with the Aeon Soul signature.
On the other hand, the Daz3d store is packed with Wasteland and Post-apocalyptic themed products, so our heroes (or villains, I’m not judging ;)) will find themselves in some (relative) comfort!
the Wasteland Outfit and its add-ons
Wasteland Outfit for G8 and G9, female and male
Wasteland Outfit (left thumbnail) is your classic post-apocalyptic set with a (once) t-shirt that has seen better days and can testify to your commitment to surviving and cargo pants that can carry all you need when you are on the road or in a ramshackle shelter.
The boots have seen hundreds of kilometers of desert and city ruins, but can still carry you to the end of the world or possibly its rebirth.
We also included plenty of props as you never know where you are going to end up and you need to be prepared: carabiners that you can hang anything on, canisters for food and drinks, or that sweet nitro fuel that can boost you out of trouble and metal tubes that could house any treasure.
If you want to make it in a post-apocalyptic world you need the right gear!
The belts of the outfit (the pants belt as well as the additional belt) can be loaded with lots of props or just a couple, if you want to travel light and are that unique and practical feature that makes this outfit an Aeon Soul.
Post-apocalyptic Add-on for Wasteland Outfit
Our Post-apocalyptic Add-on for Wasteland Outfit (middle thumb) is a set of fantastic styles to give more flair to your shade of post-apocalypse: Greasy, Mud, and Punked options expand the set’s versatility into new settings.
1. Greasy: based on the original Wasteland Styles, these add a layer of grease, the perfect dirt for a Gastown-style post-apocalyptic setting. Mix these with our Skin Effects: Grease styles and you have a well-rounded Gastown citizen!
2. Mud: these explore a more guerrilla-in-the-woods approach to the Apocalypse. Army colors and patterns get drenched in Mud for those who prefer to survive in the jungle or muddy ruins. Mix these with our Skin Effects: Mud for a complete character!
3. Punked: if you don’t want to face the Apocalypse or its Aftermath with your head down, this is the style for you. Show what’s left of the World that you mean business and they better watch out!
Wasteland Tops collection for G8 and G9 females
In addition to our complete outfit, we released a Wasteland Tops collection (right thumbnail), a set of alternative tops and top add-on textures:
They are the perfect addition to our Wasteland Outfit to create even more varied and unforgettable characters.
Included in the package are eight top style: Behind the head Top, Top Down, Top Full Down, Top Raised Up, Short Top with shoulders down, Short Top, Top with shoulders Down and a skin-tight Top.
The additional styles include a classic Dystopian ribbed cotton to re-emerge in style after the World’s Fallout, a Gastown not welcome sign, an Anarchy + No Man’s Land statement, some Nuclear sign variations, and a Sad Smile or Wild Grin tattered style.
Skin Effects: Wasteland
Skin Effects: Wastelands is meant to offer a true Wasteland experience, whether one wants to set up a real post-apocalyptic world or an imaginary one.
The styles and options included offer a huge range, from classic to post-apocalyptic fashionista and punk. You will find all the options you would expect and several original ones to create unique, custom wasteland characters or bands/clans.
Skin Effects: Wasteland features three Skin Effects that can be used separately or together:
- White Clay
- Spray (Chrome and Paint)
- Grease options
White Clay for G8 and G9, females and males
The White Clay includes:
- Full body coverage and 8 worn-out options
- 16 Partial body options
- 15 Styles for head and torso
- Options for age, coverage, colors, patina option,s and patina colors
- 12 Presets
Spray for G8 and G9, females and males
The Spray features
- 25 unique designs
- Chrome options
- Colored paint options
Grease options for G8 and G9, females and males
The Grease includes body paints for both head and torso, that can be used alone or in combination, or even mixed with each other for more complex looks

The Bundle
Bundle exclusive: the bundle includes presets that feature elements from all three packages. Use them as they are, or as a base for your own customization. Easily customize them by changing worn-out variants (clay), colors, or Styles.
Note that all Skin effects include support for the Genesis 8 generation (Genesis 8 and 8.1) and the Genesis 9 generation, both Male and Female. All characters include genitalia options that can be used with the official geografts or, for the females, with alternative geografts.

Post-Apocalyptic styles for City Vibes
June 2025 saw the release of our Post-Apocalyptic styles for City Vibes, these are meant to bring City Vibes into our post-apocalyptic, wasteland mini-world.
The add-on includes two styles:
A classic Wasteland style: a dirtied and very dirtied cotton style that has seen better days.
The bottom edge of the dress is worn out and frayed.
The stockings edges are all frayed and we included some amazing fold morphs to add to the feeling.
The army boots are worn out, but they were built solidly and can still take a beating.
And our unique Wasteland Punked: Creativity is inherent to human nature, even in the post-apocalypse. The punked style shows that you mean business!
Punked includes two dress varieties, one centered around the toxic theme. The other… well, you made it and are now Queen of the Wasteland, so people had best keep in line in front of you!
The stockings come in punked style as well as ripped with or without underneath fishnet stockings (amazing what you can find among city ruins).
The boots also show your style as even those kneeling to you shall take notice. They also come in a muddy version for those times where “keeping your feet clean” is not an option.
Note that this add-on is compatible with all City Vibes clothing sets: City Vibes as well as City Vibes Dress Variations Vol. 1 and City Vibes Dress Variations Vol. 2.
You only need one of the packages to enjoy it, but of course the stockings and boots are only available in the City Vibes Outfit set

Our Superstar Underwear also features punked styles and can be used to match the other Post-apocalyptic punked options
Skin Effects: Grease
Earlier in the year we released our Skin Effects: Grease, while these aren’t a strictly Wasteland product, they fit the narrative well and are, in fact, a perfect match for the Wasteland grease options. You can use the Skin Effects: Grease as additional options or as a more regular base for your Wasteland characters.
What the future holds
We want to expand the wasteland wardrobe even more, by releasing more add-ons for existing products so that we can add features and flexibility to outfits people already own.
Next in line is Street Verve, which is at about 50% progress, while our new Metro Straps (we’ll be showing more about them soon) will release with a post-apocalyptic add-on on day 1.
We’re also evaluating creating a wasteland add-on for Astratech, which also means Zero One and Urban Noise to cover a wide range of products and options Daz Studio artists already own.
We do not have plans for more Skin Effects, but we do have a Post-Apocalyptic clan half baked that we’d like to release not too late into the year. Working on Skin effects sets it’s always extremely time-consuming, especially since the wasteland theme covers all current characters, so we have to plan well to make that happen.
